We continue to emphasize that downloading the books is free of charge. We also allow our patrons to print their own ebooks for personal use.
We recognize that, many people want a compact paperback to carry with them or to make notes in. Additionally, most copy centers (such as Staples or Kinkos) will not print and bind these books due to copyright fears. (Feel free to give it a try if you like but most will not do it even if you show them the permissions on this site).
It is our intention to provide quality paperback books at a resonable cost. We have made arrangements with a reputable "print on demand" publisher (3mpub) to print and ship our books. This keeps our costs down as we do not need to keep an inventory or worry about shipping.
All proceeds from the sales of these paperbacks go toward advertising, publishing costs and keeping this site going. No collaborators make a profit. In the event that there are proceeds, these go to humanitarian aid, thus avoiding sticky issues that hamper collaboration. When you get to the website, there is a link to buy the electronic version that can be downloaded from here for free. There is no obligation to buy as the electronic downloads are free as advertised. Use this only if you would like to make a contribution to the cause.
